A new paper by MIT Humanitarian Supply Chain Lab Director Dr. Jarrod Goentzel and Research Associate Lauren Finegan, PE, synthesizes actionable insights from a roundtable of leaders across government, homebuilding, finance, insurance, and research to explore how cross-sector innovation can transform post-disaster housing recovery.

Among the key findings:

• Recovery is won or lost before the disaster hits
• Resilience needs to be embedded in the daily decisions of builders, insurers, officials, and more
