Mozart started writing music at 5 and this kid seems to be following in his footsteps.

After six months of the appeal process, the Maryland State Board of Education has ruled to reverse the Dorchester County Board of Education's decision to deny our application for a charter school. This is not an approval of our application but definitely a step in the right direction. We are now entering into negotiations with the school board and will provide more information as it becomes available. Thank you for all of your support!

The School Board's Decision

The School Board's final decision on Maryland Eastern Shore Charter School Alliance's application for Dorchester Preparatory Public Charter School will be made tomorrow, December 19th, and we need your help! Please, show your support by attending the meeting tomorrow.

Your support through this entire process has been much appreciated. We hope all of our efforts will result in a positive decision by the School Board resulting in a quality choice of public education for the students and parents of Dorchester County.
