Dear FES Community,

I wanted to share some updates in regards to the FES principal search. This morning I received a call from Christopher Shackett, one of our principal finalists. He let me know that last night he accepted an administrative position within his current district and thus is withdrawing from the FES process. He expressed his gratitude to the process and regrets for withdrawing last minute. We know the job market is very tight and not something we have the ability to control.

The committee felt very strongly that both candidates would serve FES well. We will still move forward with our scheduled time with Todd Rivver.

Our revised schedule will be:
5:00-5:45 Meet with the Community
5:45 Meet with the Board

The Fletcher Elementary School (FES) Pre-K program's open enrollment period, for the FY'22-23 school year, concludes on May 23rd. Those interested in enrolling their Fletcher Pre-K student into the Pre-K program must submit to FES, by May 23rd, the open enrollment documents were by U.S. Mail. (Pre-K students must be at least 3 years old by 09/01/22.) If you did not receive open enrollment documents for your Fletcher Pre-K student or you need additional copies, please contact Courtney Ireland at FES (802-849-6251 or [email protected]).
