Cambridge Chinese Choral Society (CCCS 劍橋合唱團)

Founded in 1992, the Cambridge Chinese Choral Society (CCCS) is a non-profit, volunteer-run choral ensemble based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Cambridge Chinese Choral Society (CCCS) was originally founded in 1992 by a group of students and scholars at MIT who share a common interest in choral music as well as the Chinese culture and tradition. We see our concerts as important venues to introduce Chinese and Taiwanese music to the Greater Boston and neighboring communities and to arouse interest among our audience, who may not be familiar with our songs.

劍橋合唱團成立於1992年，由大波士頓地區熱愛合唱的學生及專業人士組成。團員們有不同的專業領域與音樂背景，大家稟持著這份對音樂的喜好，在異鄉找到志同道合的朋友，也在學習、生活各方面得到更多的關心和照料。不少團員自小接觸合唱，在這裡延續了這份難以割捨的興趣，一些團員回到台灣後加入專業合唱演出團體。

CCCS 2026 Spring 《If Life Were a Musical 夢廻百老匯》 圓滿落幕✨

謝謝所有支持我們的觀眾朋友前來觀賞劍橋合唱團的音樂會！

今年的音樂會是劍橋合唱團的一次創新— 將合唱團結合了百老匯的元素，以演戲、舞蹈、燈光作為點綴，使觀眾身歷百老匯現場。

謝謝合唱團的每一位團員，在忙碌工作之餘，每週五還要犧牲寶貴的休閒時間與我們一同練唱，在唱完歌後花30分鐘留下來練舞。也感謝每一位獨唱，花了數不清的時間練習動作及演戲，只為了更貼近原曲，給觀眾帶來最好的饗宴。

另外也要謝謝燈光師以及舞團，讓音樂會不再只是單純的合唱團表演，而是蛻變成一場華麗的演出。

最後，也要謝謝指揮毓芬，毓芬作為劍橋合唱團的指揮，陪我們走過了15個年頭。不論風雨，你總是站在合唱台上，沈穩的引導著我們，走過一場又一場的演出。

Thank you for supporting the Cambridge Chinese Choral Society and joining us for this special concert!

This year’s concert was meaningful for CCCS. We blended choral music with Broadway-inspired elements, incorporating acting, dance, and lighting design to create an immersive musical theatre experience for our audience.

We are deeply grateful to every choir member who devoted their Friday evenings to rehearsals despite busy work schedules and who stayed after singing rehearsals to practice choreography. We also want to thank each of our soloists for the countless hours they spent refining their movements, acting, and stage presence, all to bring each piece closer to its original spirit and deliver the best possible performance for the audience.

A special thank-you also goes to our lighting designer and guest dance performers, whose artistry helped transform this concert from a traditional choral performance into a vibrant and theatrical production.

Finally, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our conductor, Yufen. As the conductor of CCCS, Yufen has guided us for the past 15 years. Through every season, you have stood before us with calmness, dedication, and grace, leading us through one performance after another.

我們很開心邀請到 Boba Swing 與 Mona 一起參與這次演出。

Boba Swing 是創立於波士頓的搖擺舞團，致力於推廣 1920–40 年代充滿社交魅力與即興精神的文化，分享爵士樂純粹的快樂。本次帶來《芝加哥》經典曲目 Razzle Dazzle，以靈活的爵士舞步詮釋 1920 年代的華麗與喧囂。

Mona 是一位舞者、舞蹈教師與編舞者，受過芭蕾、嘻哈、非洲節奏與多種街舞風格的訓練，目前於波士頓地區開每月一次的成人 Urban Dance 課程。

我們的獨唱也會在 A Million Dreams, For Good, and You’ll Be Back 帶來精彩的演出！

This concert is more than a choir performance — it is a celebration of dance, music, and theatre.

We are excited to welcome Boba Swing and Mona to join us for this performance.

Boba Swing is a Boston-based dance group dedicated to promoting the social charm and improvisational spirit of 1920s-40s culture, sharing the pure joy of jazz. This performance features ”Razzle Dazzle,“ a classic from the musical Chicago, using dynamic jazz movements to interpret the glamour and bustle of the 1920s.

Mona is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer trained in ballet, hip hop, Afrobeats, and various street styles. She currently teaches monthly urban dance classes to adults in the Boston area. For more information, follow her on Instagram.
