Hello Friends and Families.... Come visit us at the Cambridge Preschool Program Enrollment Fair! We will be there with other Cambridge preschools to show why our school is so AMAZING and the perfect place for families to start their early years education. It's that time of year! Our annual Harvard Commencement Bake Sale!! All proceeds to benefit our Scholarship Program! This year we will be located on the corner of Mass Ave and Church St in front of the First Parish Church. Stop by and say hello and buy some yummy baked goodies for a great cause!!!

It's Teacher Appreciation Week!!! GNS has always been lucky to have some really great teachers in its many years! Let's take a look at our current teachers and celebrate them!

Hallie is our organizer, our deep thinker and thoughtful communicator! She shares her artistic knowledge with kids, leads interesting conversations at Meeting, and has a ton of fun with the kids! Here she is playing Hide-n-Seek. She really knows how to get deeply involved in even the simplest of games!

Alex is the joy spreader! She is always making everyone laugh as well as being deeply empathetic with how children are feeling. She can get excited about the simplest of things which reminds us all to find the joy in each day! Here she is doing a science experiment with the children!

Cassie is our book loving, space enthusiast and super active listener! Cassie sets up really intriguing activities that are so inviting and exploratory. You can find her cuddling up with a group of kids to read a story as well as running around outside playing chasing games with the kids. Here she is listening intently while children talk about their work.

Guess what? Garden Nursery School is expanding! Starting September 2025, we will have 2 classrooms... The Dandelion Room and The Sunflower Room (names chosen and voted on by the children, of course!) The Dandelion Room will be a multi-age toddler and preschool room (ages 20 months-3.3 years old) with 9 children and 2 teachers and The Sunflower Room will continue to be a preschool room (ages 3.3-5 years old) with 15 children and 2 teachers.

This is an exciting time for us to be able to spread our love and joy to more families. Please help us spread the word!

The "Drive to 65!" event is a racing event where the children will design a long race track and a very special race car. Every time Garden Nursery School receives a $65 or more donation, the race car will move ahead until it reaches the finish line of $6,500! If we make it past $6,500 we will make the track bigger! We are looking for both alumni and community board members for our board of directors.
