A bittersweet moment in the life of St. Bart’s.

The Reverend Canon Stephanie Spellers has been called to serve as Priest in Charge at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco.

For nearly a decade, Canon Stephanie has inspired us with beautiful and thought-provoking sermons. Again and again, she has eloquently called us to be more faithful followers of Jesus and more caring neighbors to one another.

We give thanks for her ministry at St. Bart's, and look forward to celebrating Canon Stephanie in the months ahead. On Sunday, July 12, at all three services, Canon Stephanie will preach her final Sunday sermons as a member of the clergy team at St. Bart's. Canon Stephanie will say her farewell to the Imagine Worship community on Thursday, July 16. Then, on Sunday, July 19, she will preside at both the 9 am Eucharist in the Round and the 11 am Choral Eucharist. She will also speak at The Forum in between the two services. After the 11 am service, we will hold a festive coffee hour in her honor.
