The JH Lady Spartans had a 3-0 streak and a 4-0 run after winning tonight 6-4 vs undefeated Galva!

Ridgewood Spartans JH Softball Hold Onto Victory As Galva JH Wildcats Almost Erase 5-Run Deficit

Ridgewood Spartans JH Softball got out to a 5-run lead in the fifth inning and held on for a 6-4 victory over Galva JH Wildcats on Wednesday. Galva JH Wildcats closed the gap by scoring on a double, a single, and a double.

Ridgewood Spartans JH Softball got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Brylee B singled to center field, and Preslee C grounded out, each scoring one run.

Kinley B earned the win for Ridgewood Spartans JH Softball. The righty gave up six hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking three. Klaire G took the loss for Galva JH Wildcats. The starter went four and one-third innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out five and walking two.

Ridgewood Spartans JH Softball accumulated eight hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Brylee led Ridgewood Spartans JH Softball with two hits in four at bats. Addyson B, Macey D, Preslee, and Brylee each drove in one run for Ridgewood Spartans JH Softball. Brylee stole two bases.

Grace C drove the middle of the lineup, leading Galva JH Wildcats with two runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Klaire stole two bases. Galva JH Wildcats were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Grace made the most plays with nine.

Next up for Ridgewood Spartans JH Softball is a game against Galva JH Wildcats on Wednesday.
