Better late than never: in February, Boston Iaido was fortunate enough to give a presentation and demonstration for Japan Day at Harvard University, in conjunction with . We had a great time and truly enjoyed engaging with the student community!

Boston Iaido Dojo will be at the Japan Festival Boston on March 25–26. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are happy to announce that Japan Festival Boston is back on Saturday April 25th and Sunday April 26th, 2026! Join us from 11am to 5pm for food, performances, dancing, workshops, cosplay, and more.

This year, not only are we bringing you the festival you've come to love in Boston Common, but we'll be expanding our Downtown stage as well, bringing you even more performances and booths!

We will be slowly updating our website with all the information you could need for the 2026 festival. So stay tuned for lots of updates!

We’re pleased to give a presentation on Iaido and perform a demonstration for Japan Day over at Harvard University on February 28th at 9am among many amazing guests.

The event is open to the public!

Although it's not listed on our schedule, we will periodically have early morning Saturday practice in a small studio that can accommodate 4-6 iaidoka. This time gives us an extra opportunity to get some practice in for things we want to revisit or brush up on. And then of course we go out for breakfast.

How early does practice start? Let's just say they're sometimes referred to as the "Saturday Morning Zombie Meetup".
