Later this fall, we will introduce a new sustainability initiative connected to our weekly Bread Sales, and we need the creative minds (of all ages) in our community to help bring this new project to life.

When you think of Friday Bread Sales, what do you look forward to most? What’s your favorite item? Draw your interpretation of this beloved school tradition, and your artwork could be prominently featured as part of this new project.

We’re gearing up for another year of competitive Math and Chess at ISB! ♟️

Beyond our various Math and Chess Club offerings, ISB students can take their skills to the next level through our competitive co-ed travel teams:

Chess — Mondays, Grades 1–12
Math — Wednesdays, Grades 4–8
French Math — Fridays, Grades 4–6

The countdown to Global Learning at ISB is on. 🌍

In just a few weeks, students in Grades 7–12 will begin the school year with our Curriculum & Culture Teambuilding Trips. From Québec City and New York City to Chewonki, the Berkshires, and beyond, these experiences set the tone for the year ahead by building community, strengthening connections, and extending learning beyond our Cambridge classrooms. Later in the year, students in Grades 1-6 will join these overnight adventures.

A reminder for current ISB families: Please visit the Welcome Page and submit your field trip permissions for students in Grades 7–12. Completing these forms now will help us finalize plans for a smooth start to the school year.

A record year. A remarkable community. 💙

As we put an official close to fiscal year 2026, we are proud to celebrate a historic milestone for ISB: our community contributed $503,200 in total Annual Fund giving this year, marking the strongest fundraising year in the school’s history.

This achievement reflects the extraordinary generosity and commitment of 304 donors, including 75 individuals who made their first gift to ISB this year.

ISB’s Annual Fund provides vital supplemental funding that allows the School to invest annually in the areas of greatest need. Thank you to every family, former student, trustee, faculty and staff member, and friend of ISB who helped make this milestone possible.

Together, we continue to power possibility at the International School of Boston.

✨ New for Fall 2026!

This fall, ISB is introducing three new programs designed to provide even more opportunities for students and families:

🌅 Early Morning Care
Elementary School students can now begin their day at ISB as early as 7:00 AM, offering families added flexibility before the school day begins.

🤖 AI Startup Sprint & Innovation October Break Camp
Middle and Upper School students can spend October Break on campus exploring artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and design thinking while collaborating to solve real-world challenges. This program is hosted in collaboration with Harvard Undergraduate Women in Computer Science (WiCS), the largest STEM affinity group at Harvard.

⚽ October Break Soccer Skills Clinic
Students in Grades 5–8 can build technical skills, grow their confidence, and enjoy the game in a fun, supportive off-campus environment during October Break. This clinic is offered in partnership with Unlimited Soccer Boston.
