WE ARE LOOKING FOR TALENTS IN 2019!
Founded in 2011, MIT-CHIEF is a non-profit student organization registered at MIT, with members from both within and outside MIT. Our mission is to promote intellectual exchange and collaboration between China and the U.S. in technologies, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We have three teams:
COMMUNITY
Community aims at discovering new startups in the Greater Boston area and bringing them to the MIT-CHIEF family. Throughout the year, we hold various events, such as entrepreneurship-focused seminars, training programs, and local community meet-ups.
CHINA INITIATIVE
China Initiative aims at connecting the resources between China and MIT innovations. In summer, we organize outstanding startups to tour major cities China, visiting entrepreneurship incubators and meeting with investors.
BRANDING
Branding is dedicated to building MIT-CHIEF’s brand image through marketing and public relations. We improve communications with resources from all backgrounds and expand our influence in high-tech industries.

Last Keynote for the day | Wei Jiang
Thanks to Wei Jiang, the Venture Partner at ZhenFund, for having such an enraging speech with us! He pitched many useful advices to all entrepreneurs by sharing his compelling stories, including common pitfalls, his philosophies on hiring and firing people at early stage, how to succeed in startups.

Keynote | Harvey Lodish
Great thanks to Professor Harvey Lodish, the founder and scientific advisory board member of Genzyme, Arris Pharmaceuticals, Millennium Pharemaceuticals, and Incand Allozyne, to share his insights on genetic disorders, rare diseases, cell and gene therapies, and geographical influences.
He introduced a potential therapy for Phenylketonuria (PKU) and many other diseases based on genetically modified red blood cells.
