Results are in from our LGBTQ Week. 76% of the MBA/LGO programs pledged not to discriminate against people on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in their future careers as managers and leaders. Across Sloan, 762 students across 6 degree programs took this pledge. That means there were at least 762 conversations about LGBTQ non-discrimination and LGBTQ rights across Sloan in a single week, if not more. Now compare that to estimated 90% of Americans who don't know that LGBTQ people aren't protected from workplace discrimination. We're excited to follow up our awareness campaign with some events that give allied students the tools to follow up on their pledge once they leave campus.
