The award recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, advocacy, and a deep commitment to creating more inclusive, affirming school communities for LGBTQ+ youth across the Commonwealth.

We are extremely proud of Finn's academic achievement in addition to the honor and recognition he has rightfully earned for his service beyond the school community. It's National Safety Month!
National Safety Month aims to highlight leading causes of preventable injury and death and raises awareness of safety strategies to help create a strong safety culture within our communities. Our Safety & Security team, educators, and administrators work hard to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff. The ongoing partnership with our families is a critical piece of these efforts.
Preventative Safety Tips:
• Safely store fi****ms in homes and vehicles when not under the direct control of an authorized individual as required by state law.
• Find the right car seat appropriate for your child’s age, weight, and height. Ensure the car seat is properly installed, visit a car seat inspection center near you if needed.
• Make sure children wear protective gear such as helmets, safety padding, and other safety gear for sport and play. Ensure the gear fits properly and teach your child to check for fit prior to activity.
We encourage you to review our Safety & Security Playbook (https://bit.ly/4v4i7Y1), which is a comprehensive resource that outlines both the caregiver and district roles for preventative safety measures. Thank you for your continued commitment to the safety of our children both inside and outside of school buildings.
