Thanks to our busy end-of-year schedule, we're just getting around to sharing these! Our 5th-graders visited the in Connecticut to learn about their work and the sea life (and of course, see some animals). Thanks for having us!

As their final project, Mr. Willey's engineering class designed and made boats throughout trimester three and launched them at the end of May! Both boats successfully launched and made it back to the boat house intact

The Upper School theater was full of sea chanties and pirates a couple of weeks ago as students performed their spring play, "Treasure Island." These rough and tough pirates stole the show (and the treasure) in a production that will return at the Fringe Festival this summer! Check out more pictures at bbns.org

While the end of the year is a time for celebration, it's also a time of goodbyes, and this year, we have five faculty and staff members retiring. With a combined 120 years of service to the community, their impact can be felt across many generations of BB&N students. We wish them the best in their future endeavors and hope that they come back to visit often!

A glimpse into the future of BB&N's Lower School ✨

Rooted in pedagogy and biophilic design, every space is crafted to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Classrooms are growing by nearly 25%, commons spaces will more than triple, and science, art, and makerspaces are expanding to support hands-on discovery for all age groups.

With more room to gather and inspire (including a new kitchen and dining facility!), every square foot is designed for the way students learn today and tomorrow.

Learn more at the link in bio.

Yesterday, we also celebrated the Class of 2032 as they completed their time at the Lower School! Students reminisced about their time on campus, whether it was one year or eight, and of course, paid homage to their recent musical, Mary Poppins Jr. We can't wait to see what these students do at the Middle School!
