Please join Women and Gender Services (WXGS) and the Black, Indigenous, Women of Color Gathering Circle (BIWOC GC) for a dynamic day of learning about health equity for BIWOC communities. The Symposium will address the following topics: Maternal Black healthcare, reproductive health access, language barriers to quality care, integrated equity, and workforce development. Health equity leaders will discuss utilizing intersectional perspectives to explore the challenges, opportunities, and strategies to address these five topics. There will also be a wellness activity to build your reflection journal and a reflection discussion to follow.
