SocialWorks and Google both visited Bowen High School this morning to celebrate the success of . Though that event wraps up tomorrow, it marks the beginning of CPS's , which brings intensive and cutting-edge coding programs to schools across the district.
Month of Code is part of CPS's CS4All program, which has become one of the leading school CS programs in the country. That's thanks in no small part to support from partners across the city, including the CME Group Foundation, Google, The Learning Partnership, DePaul University, Loyola University Chicago, The University of Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, Robert Morris University - Illinois, University of Illinois at Chicago, UMass Boston Computer Science, Project GUTS, Bootstrap, Code.org, Microsoft Chicago, Illinois Technology Foundation, National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), and STARS Alliance.
