Alef-Bet Child Care Center

Alef Bet had a great summer, full of nature exploration, gardening, and water play. Now it’s time to say goodbye to sprinklers and sea shells, and say hello to the new year!

We had a great time celebrating Shavuot recently and we hope you all did, too! The children got to see, touch, and blow kisses to real Torahs and even practiced making their own with feathers and ink. The preschool class also made some ice cream for a delicious, dairy treat!

We were so thrilled for even a couple inches of snow on our playground!

With preschool graduation just around the corner, the Gimmel teachers are having a hard time accepting it’s almost time to say goodbye!

ABCC’s preschool class, AKA the Gimmel Room, still has a few slots remaining for the upcoming school year!

In Gimmel, we aim for child-led, play-based learning, where we follow the interests and imaginations of our students wherever their bright minds take them.

Our little gardeners in the Gimmel room worked very hard to sift the soil, prepare the planters, and carefully transplant their cucumber seedlings. Hopefully, they can taste the fruit of their hard work by the end of the summer!
