Busy week with campus back in action!

We had the opportunity to speak with new international students at the Graduate Orientation Welcome Reception hosted by the International Students Office. We also joined our partners in Emergency Management to talk about safety at MIT with first-year undergraduate and graduate students.

It was a great way to kick off the new academic year and connect with so many new members of the MIT community.

Looking for a bike? The MIT Police and Parking & Transportation Office will hold a bicycle auction of used and abandoned bicycles two weeks from today, weather permitting.

Location: 290 Albany Street Shuttle Lot
Date: Friday, September 18 from 10 AM–2 PM
Preview: 9:30 AM

A few things to know:
• A valid MIT ID is required
• Credit card payment only
• Maximum of 3 bikes per buyer
• Onsite registration is available for purchased bikes
• All sales are final
