It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dean Mary Hope. Without her hard work, Lambda Upsilon would not exist. Her dedication to chartering this chapter has led us to 43 years of excellence. We honor her legacy today and send her family all of our love. For members and alumnae of the Lambda Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. her homegoing information will be sent out in the coming days.

Today, the Lambda Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. celebrates 43 years of scholarship, sisterhood, and service in the greater Boston and Cambridge community. We are eternally grateful to Dean Mary Hope and our seventeen charter members for their vision. Because of them, generations of our Lambda Upsilon sisters have continued to exemplify excellence while promoting service to all mankind. 💞💚
