The MIT Shotokan Karate Club is open to all MIT affiliates. The MIT Shotokan club was founded in 1974 by Sensei Kazumi Tabata.

Practice is held weekly on M-W from 5-7pm @ DuPont Sqash Court, Fridays 5-7pm and Sunday from 11-1pm @ the T-Club Lounge. It was the second club of his New England Collegiate Karate Conference - NECKC, a large network of Shotokan clubs across many New Englands colleges.
