20 years ago today we lost the humble, kind and loving, great man Kanai Sensei. Anyone who was fortunate enough to have trained with him were the lucky ones; for me, it was also personal. I will never forget early that morning, even before I heard the words that he was gone, I knew. I take some comfort in that just hours before, our last words had been, 'I love you'.

The warm, welcoming atmosphere and delightful group of dedicated students at McGill Aikido under Chief Instructor Daniel Laurendeau Sensei made for a wonderful seminar experience. Thank you so very much for the special attention to every detail. What a thoroughly enjoyable weekend!
