Two of our finalists, ZAHARA for Education and Making Water Visible: Pune's water systems, received Crowd Favorite Awards worth $2,500. They received the most number of votes in our virtual showcase, which was hosted by MIT Solve. Thank you to all who voted, and a big congratulations to the crowd favorites!

This year's Social Innovation Awards was dedicated to Dr. Shirley McBay, who passed on last year. A co-founder of the MIT PKG Center and former MIT Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. McBay is a celebrated champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and service.
