Do you recognize this weeks change creator?? You just might if you’ve binge watched the ABC drama series, Scandal. Kerry Washington has used her platform and voice to encourage her audience to get out and vote. Just recently, Washington was featured as a cohost of Every Vote Counts, a CBS special that aired October 29th to encourage voter turnout for this years election. We advise you to take inspiration from Kerry Washington and use your platforms (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, etc.) to encourage your friends to have their voice heard!! Get out there and VOTEE!! 🗳🇺🇸

We are featuring Cheryl Clyburn Crawford as our change creator! 💗Crawford is the Executive Director of MassVOTE 🗳, a non-profit organization that seeks to increase voter participation in Massachusetts, as well as the 2nd Vice President of the NAACP-Boston Branch. She also actively participates as a member of the Attorney General’s Advisory Council on Racial Justice and Equity. Fun fact: Crawford is a proud alumna of Lesley University! Isn’t that so cool?!

‼️Introducing our Executive Board‼️
Jailene Guzman (she/her/hers) is a freshman at Lesley who majors in graphic design. She is extremely passionate about creating art to educate, inspire, and to have fun! Jailene is our Communications Director and she votes because she feels that having her voice heard is one more step closer to creating the change she wants in her community.

We are featuring Erina Colombo, a Civic Engagement Manager and Congresswoman for Ayanna Pressley. 🗳Colombo works towards making government and policy-making more accessible to all residents of the Massachusetts 7th Congressional District. She is also a proud alumna of City Year, an American education non-profit that focuses on helping students and schools succeed. Thank you Colombo for the work you’ve done :)
