Cambridge Public Library – Lecture Hall

AI is the most transformative technology of our time, yet decisions about its future are being shaped by a small group of people. As AI becomes embedded in our daily lives, the voices of young people, families, educators, and community members matter more than ever.

Join us for an inclusive, intergenerational gathering where we explore what is at stake, what is possible, how we can collectively shape a more humane and equitable future in the age of AI.

* AI and Us Showcase — Discover how young people, researchers, and community organizations are shaping AI for humanity.
* Town Hall Conversations —  Hear from thought leaders and youth voices on why our participation in AI’s future is not optional.
* Community Commitment Wall — Add your hope or promise for a future where everyone belongs in the story of AI.
AI is still young. Its future is not yet written. Let’s shape it together.

Presented in collaboration with Innovators for Purpose, Joint Family, The Hope Group, and the Cambridge Public Library.

Celebrating Maxwell: A First That Opens Doors

It feels like yesterday that Maxwell first walked through our doors, curious and full of potential. In reality, it was six years ago. Within just two years, he grew from a young designer making posters and logos into a purpose-driven UX designer determined to make an impact. His dedication earned more in scholarships than the full cost of college. His graduation quote said it best: “Done. Debt free.”

Every movement has a moment when someone breaks through and shows others what is possible. For iFp, Maxwell is that moment.

At iFp, we’ve worked hard to build something deeper than a program. We’ve created a pathway and a community that doesn’t end at high school graduation. Maxwell embraced every part of that support: mentoring, continued skills development, internship referrals, and above all, knowing there were people outside his family who cared deeply about his success.

Through college, he built a new kind of playbook. Four internships in four years. A growing portfolio. A clear vision for his future. He understood early what many learn too late: in today’s world, experience plus education unlocks opportunity.

A few weeks ago, Maxwell began his career as an Associate Experience Designer at TD Bank, becoming the first iFp alum to fully navigate iFp Pathway from Curiosity to College to Career.

And he will not be the last. Our pipeline is full of ambitious young people paving their own paths toward becoming socially conscious innovators. We can’t wait to celebrate each one!

Nothing makes us happier than a visit from an alum.

iFp alum Ashi (iFp ’25, Harvard ’29) is off to an incredible start right across the street at Harvard!

Loved hearing all about her first day, the dorm room views, new friends, and multivariable calculus.

Remember - We are the Future. We are the Now.

We couldn’t be prouder.

iFp Innovators showcased Oblivion, our latest video game developed in Godot, at the Cambridge Science Festival.

In O.B.L.V.I.O.N., you play as Alex, searching for his missing sister in a world where an AI keeps the poor Outer City under control. With the rebels’ help, Alex must decide: destroy the AI or rewrite its use to change everything.

AI is the most transformative technology of our time, but who’s deciding its future?

Join us for an inclusive community gathering where the voices too often left out of technology innovation are placed at the center of the conversation. This Town Hall is about more than understanding AI — it’s about recognizing and using our collective power to shape what comes next.

More details coming soon.

Should we be passive users of AI, or are we meant to shape it, question it, and become its architects?
Amazing poem by our very own iFp innovator, Soley.

Let’s talk about AI and art with iFp Innovator Ezray.

Our Summer 2025 crew is shaping up to be one of our strongest cohorts to date. Had a great time visiting one of our favorite places in the universe - the MIT Museum. Thanks for inviting us to explore how origami is used in engineering.

Come check out what we’ve be up to at our Summer Showcase on August 7.

The team will not disappoint!
