Tomorrow is the big day! Cambridge has the pleasure of hosting the RPAC East Band Festival. Rehearsal starts at 1. High school band members will eat lunch at their regular time. Remember, students: school clothes during the day, black pants + black shoes for the concert! Your polos are freshly laundered and hanging up for you.

It’s a beautiful day for band! Check-in for the alumni/community band event begins at 12:30. If you have some time this evening, please come by the concert in the gym tonight at 7! Dessert bar to follow, free-will donation accepted for the band program. Go Trojan band!

Good Monday morning, everyone. Alumni/Community Band is THIS SATURDAY! Wow! For those who have registered, you should have all received a Google Drive folder in your email that contains music and details of the event. Participants should plan to arrive to the commons area outside the big gym by 12:30pm to check in and receive instruments/folders/name tags, etc. Rehearsal will start promptly at 1pm. If you have the chance, please come see our concert at 7pm! There will be a dessert bar and free will donation set up in the commons area to benefit the band program. Go Trojan Band!

Do you miss making music? Then sign up for our first ever Alumni/Community Band! Join us Saturday, October 8 for one day event full of music and fun. Rehearsal will begin at 1pm with a concert at 7 to celebrate your participation. The event is free to all participants. If you need an instrument, mark it on the registration form! Good evening everyone! Just a few general reminders for the band trip, which begins TOMORROW! We are LEAVING the school parking lot at 5:30am (I know, I'm sorry). We will stop on the way a few times for breaks and lunch. We will arrive at the American Jazz and Negro League Baseball Museum right around 1pm. Please dress semi-casual, as we will be attending a concert later tomorrow night. Bring snacks along as well as some good old-fashioned cash! Remember that Worlds of Fun is cashless, so if you don't have a debit/credit card, there will be kiosks available throughout the park to put cash onto a park card. Let's rock!

With warmer temperatures finally reaching our area, it’s spring cleaning season through and through! If you happen to come across an old musical instrument, or one that is not used and is collecting dust in the attic, please consider donating to the Cambridge band program! We have a limited supply of instruments available for students, but we are always in need of a larger inventory to better serve our students in instrumental music. I am happy to check the condition of any instrument you may find!
