Henry and I are heartbroken at the loss of our friend Michael Downing, who taught literature and writing in our program for 25 years. He was the best teacher I ever had, and in the TAS course "What's the Story?" he taught me that as a writer you needed to "learn to love the limits." Well, this limit is hard to love. We will miss you, Michael.
