Today the CMS National Junior Honor Society took a quarter 1 reward field trip to the pumpkin patch! They earned this trip by demonstrating leadership, service, and scholarship. It was a great day of fall fun 💙🎃🌽🍂

The Student Council has selected their official candidates, and on Monday, the student body and staff will get to vote and select the top candidates for vice president, secretary, and treasurer! These three winners will join the current president, who served as last year's vice president. The students will vote in their ELA classes on Monday, Oct. 12.

Congratulations to Mrs. Taylor, our second “Pass the Paws” staff award recipient, in recognition of all of her hard work in recently organizing our Sandy Hook Promise week. Mrs. Taylor is always going above and beyond to ensure that our students are doing well and identifying strategies to improve their personal wellness. Mrs. Taylor will “Pass the Paws” to another deserving colleague the following week. 🐾💙
