Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day!

Kids who have an interest in animals will love my classes, since we spend lots of time learning how to draw them and discussing them. I have always loved animals and they are often the subject of my work. This is a throwback photo to a couple years ago when I was working on a wonderful commission to draw this husky on a boat for the owners of I Love Sushi in Porter Square. Her name is Kiko.

If you know someone who has a child or teen that might be interested in live Virtual Art Lessons, please direct them to my website! They can book an initial lesson through the site to see if they like it, then they can let me know if they are interested in recurring lessons for the rest of the month or the season. Friends can share lessons to see one another in class and improve their art skills together. Currently I am teaching up to 3 students at a time in a lesson. I always start with foundational drawing skills in pencil and colored pencil, but if a student expresses a particular passion for a specific style or medium(ie watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, ink) I love to nurture that joy and curiosity as much as I can while still challenging them.
