Our 20th anniversary screening was a huge success. Students from 2008-2026 shared their moment on the screen and on the stage, learning what media was like from a time before social media.
If you didn’t make it you missed a great time capsule reel with 20 decades of videos squeezed into media lemonade perfection, some alumni friends, new limited addition MAS merch, and our new MAS award.
The Jordy Brazo Award In Recognition of Excellence in Media Arts. Awarded this year to Jordy Brazo for all his work in the field of media arts and youth education. This award will now be a permanent part of our studio and will be awarded to future alumni and family of MAS that carry the spirit of media arts wherever they may go.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, parents, students, and staff. This event marks the end of the 20th anniversary line up. For this and all youth media check out channel 6 on Cambridge TV and our site watch.cpsd.us.

May 28 - Alumni Screening & Reunion: Hosted at the Cambridge Public Library, this evening is dedicated specifically to you—the people who built this program. We’ll be screening a curated collection of MAS productions from the past 20 years and providing a space for alumni to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate where your creative journeys have taken you. *We’d love to see what you’re up to now! If you have a recent project you’d like us to consider for the screening, please let us know.
Whether you were behind the camera in 2006 or 2024, your voice helped make MAS what it is today. We can’t wait to welcome you back.
I will follow up with event registration forms in the coming weeks but feel free to respond with any thoughts or feedback, including contact info for folks you think should attend the events.
Looking forward to seeing you,
