Reminder: Book Bag Procedure in Secondary Buildings Begins Full Enforcement This School Year

As we prepare for another outstanding school year, PENNCREST School District would like to remind families that the Board-approved book bag procedure for students in grades 7–12 will be fully enforced beginning on the first day of the 2026–2027 school year.
This is not a new policy. During the 2025–2026 school year, the District intentionally introduced the procedure gradually to allow students and families time to adjust. Beginning this fall, the expectation is that all secondary students will follow the procedure each school day.

📚🎒 Back-to-School Reminder for Grades 7–12
As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we'd like to remind families that the Board-approved secondary book bag procedure will be fully enforced beginning on the first day of school.
✔️ Backpacks and book bags must be stored in student lockers upon arrival.
✔️ Students may carry notebooks, folders, textbooks, I-Pads, calculators, and other classroom materials between classes without a bag.
This procedure supports:

✅ School Safety
✅ Better Traffic Flow
✅ Fewer Classroom Distractions
✅ A Safe & Orderly Learning Environment
This is not a new policy—it was introduced gradually during the 2025–2026 school year, and full implementation begins this fall.
