🏠 The Great à la mud Gingerbread Build-Off is ON! 🎄

One of our members had an idea we couldn’t resist: let’s build a ceramic gingerbread house village together!

All à la mud members, staff, and teachers are invited to make a gingerbread house, cottage, questionable holiday dwelling, or whatever your imagination comes up with. We’ll display everyone’s creations together at the studio and invite the public to vote for their favorites!

The details:
🏠 Open to members and staff
📏 Maximum footprint: 12 × 12 inches
🔥 Bisque and glaze firings for your contest house are free
🏆 Categories include People’s Choice, Most Unhinged, and Best Details
🎁 Prizes include studio credit and à la mud goodies

**Mark your calendars:**
• November 21: Final bisque firing before Dec 2
• November 29: Final glaze firing before Dec 2
• December 2: Submissions due, village opens and voting begins
• January 1: Voting closes
• January 10: Last day of the display; houses can go home

We’re so grateful for the incredible potters who showed up to make and glaze these bowls. This wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you 😘🥣

How do you handle the anticipation when a piece you truly love is in the kiln???

Do you:
a- just breathe and let it be; whatever happens, happens!
b- check the temp every 5 minutes, even when you know it’s still going to be too hot to unload
c- curl up in an anxious ball and pray to the kiln gods

Join us for Painting with Pups, benefiting Bradford’s Second Chance Rescue! Stop by to paint pottery, meet adorable adoptable pups, and help support a local foster-based nonprofit.

🐾 Saturday, September 19
🎨 3–6 PM

Drop in anytime, no reservation needed! All visiting pups are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and ready to find their forever homes. Come for the pottery…and maybe leave having met your new best friend. 🥹
