Spanish With Sarah

Spanish With Sarah WA state accredited private school. Spanish Immersion preschool and dual immersion K- 6th grade Spanish With Sarah offers bilingual Kindergarten - Fourth grade.

Spanish With Sarah began in 2006 as an after school Spanish language enrichment experience. Since then the school has grown into a state accredited private school offering several immersion preschool classes, Kindergarten through Fourth grades, summer camps, as well as several after school enrichment classes. Each preschool class is taught in Spanish, allowing children to acquire language using a natural, whole-language method. Students hear, see, speak, and 'be' the language, allowing them to progress at a natural and rapid rate while at the same time learning critical preschool skills. Half of each day is taught in Spanish - language arts and mathematics. While the other half of the day is taught in English - science and social studies. Our after school enrichment classes are geared towards students who attend public school while still having a desire for a more diverse curriculum. These students, while learning to read and write in the language, have quite a bit of fun in these twice weekly classes. A two-week summer camp is typically offered and is geared towards children entering kindergarten and older. All language levels are welcome, as advanced children are able to learn more quickly by sharing their language skills with their peers and by newer levels learn more by observing their more advanced peers.

Update: School is now cancelled for Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 due to unsafe road conditions.

12/17/2025

SWS will operate on a two-hour late start today due to unsafe driving conditions. This delay gives the county time to clear debris from the roads, and we know many families are also without power this morning.

Classes will begin at 10:45 AM.

All classes will dismiss at their regular Wednesday times
– 1:30 PM for K–5
– Normal dismissal times for Preschool

Safety remains our priority, and this adjusted schedule ensures we can maintain appropriate staffing for the day. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding.
