What a fun workshop yesterday with We paint the Koi Trifecta. This place just gives me the happy creative vibes! My oldest even got to join us. 😊 Can’t wait to paint with you again this fall!

This last Saturday, I had the joy of demonstrating “painting loose with gravity” on yupo for the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society at Clark College. I love this sweet group!

I just finished my fun and very textured playtime bunny. I have people asking me sometimes how I get my really fine lines and the answer is either I scratch them with a dental instrument or I use a very fine brush that is actually used for fingernail art. I find they’re very inexpensive and they come in a variety and very inexpensive on Amazon. Of course I always use my Princeton brushes on my watercolor on Yupo. The little guy is a 6“ x 6“ and available to purchase just DM me. Have a beautiful day!

This Thursday, we will be painting again our Highland cows. Next week, we will start in on sweet Hazel, our colorful sheep. You are welcome to join us. Both of these projects are focusing on playing with color and loose brush strokes. Paint with us around the art table at the Art Zone near Union high school in Camas. My little ART pieces are done for this year’s Little Art Camas. The event is March 20 & 21 I decided my theme was our old paper mill that’s starting to be dismantled. This is one of my favorite events!

Creative Expressions with was fabulous. Garrett can’t wait for the next time! Creative Expressions is an art class that has been created with special needs individuals in mind and works with respite/DDA. What an heartfelt experience ♥️
