You may pre‑order pizza by the slice or purchase there, or purchase hot dogs at the event
We need volunteers! This is a HUGE event and we need help to make it a success and to run smoothly. (if you signed up on the previous post, thank you! I put you in the same spots on this one) Sign up using the volunteer link on the Parent Square post. Shifts are 30 minutes (the first shift is 40 minutes)
This is not a drop‑off event
Please plan to stay as long as your student is.

Tomorrow, 5/22/26, is Kindergarten Orientation here at Helen Baller Elementary School from 1:00–2:00 PM!

We are SO excited to meet our newest Baller Bear Cubs and their families! 💛🖤

Be sure to stop by the PTA table to learn all about how we support our students, staff, and the entire Baller community throughout the year.

We’ll also have our fabulous Art Discovery Chair there with a fun table set up too! 🎨✨

It’s such an exciting time, and we can’t wait to welcome all our newest little Bears! 🐾See you tomorrow! 💕

Ive never seen DQ so packed and there are so many smiling faces! The kids are loving putting stickers on their class to win! Can't wait to see who the winner is! Its still early!

This Wednesday, 5/13/2026 is gonna be sooo sweet!! Head on in to DQ to get some dinner or a sweet treat, or BOTH!

10% of ALL SALES from 4-8pm goes to Helen Baller PTA!

Have your student put a sticker (the cashier has them) next to their teacher, and the class that has the most, will win a prize!

What an amazing week of flashbacks and appreciation! We ended this week on a sweet note, with some far-out Bundt cakes! Our Teachers and staff truly are the BEST, and we showed them just how lucky we are to have them! Thank you everyone who helped make this week one they won't forget!

What a day! Not only did we have our fun run, but we continued to travel back in time and treat our staff to some delicious snacks, 80's style!

Message from the PTA:
May is shaping up to be a fun and busy month at Helen Baller! The Apex Leadership team is back to help the PTA get everyone pumped for our annual Fun Run on Thursday, May 7th. We’ll also celebrate our amazing staff during Staff Appreciation Week with a nostalgic trip through the decades with special 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s-themed treat days. And with spring in full bloom, Art Discovery will take students outside to use the sunshine and fresh air as inspiration for gorgeous outdoor landscapes.

Staff Appreciation: This month during Staff Appreciation Week our hard-working staff will be treated to: a Breakfast at Tiffany’s-inspired breakfast spread, a 1970's-inspired lunch, a 1980's themed snack cart and an assortment of delicious bundt cakes! We totally time-tripped back to the rad 70s today—talk about a blast from the past-a! ✌️ We were on a real roll with those delicious sandwiches, and things got tea-riffic with iced tea flowing all around. The fruits and veggies? Totally outta sight! 🍓🥕 And mood rings added some far out fun!

Then we boogied like disco pros and grooved to some far-out jams—no one stayed square for long! 🕺💃 What a funk-tastic day… can you dig it? 🌼✨
