MST Student Spotlight: Emily
CHS Senior Emily Jiang built a floating island with native wetland species to combat toxic algae blooms in Fallen Leaf Lake. Her project began with research in 2024 and has grown into an initiative supported by the Lacamas Watershed Council. Great work, Emily!

MST Alum Spotlight: David Li 🎓
Congratulations to MST alumnus David Li on being named a National Merit Scholar!
After advancing from Semifinalist to Finalist through a rigorous selection process, David earned one of the national most prestigious academic honors. This fall, he will attend Caltech to study Electrical Engineering.

Chloe L, Emily L, Alyssa W, Isaac S, Sujatha C, Narayan C, Alex Y, and Eric Z proudly represented CHS at the BPA Regional Science Bowl. Both teams performed exceptionally well, winning all of their round-robin games and advancing to the double-elimination round as the #4 and #5 seeds out of 16 teams. This is a remarkable achievement, and they are looking forward to competing again next year!
