👉🏼👉🏼 POP UP CLASS NEWS!!

I’m offering a Bamboo Bodies POP UP CLASS, we’ll focus on the HIPS.
So if you’re feeling a little sticky, join me Feb 8th for a F R E E virtual class and learn how Qigong + applied Neurology can help your hips!

@ the LINK in my BIO

There’s strength & then there’s flexibility.

We often go to separate classes for EACH. But the reality is, when you’re strength training, you want to improve your range of motion. And when you’re trying to become more ‘flexible”, you’re truly wanting to train the body to be strong within that mobility.

So it’s really blending MOBILITY & STRENGTH. Within each, you need the other.

Kind of like YIN & YANG.

You need to anchor the flexibility by creating controlled movement to reduce changes of injury.

If you are a flexible ‘Mindy Max’ and you can get into these passive ranges of motion - then you’re going to need to strengthen into active ranges of motion. You might be good at poses and stretching but you need to teach the muscles to HOLD you in that position and create tension in that joint position.

One the flip side, if you strength train in linear ranges of motion and you’re a stiffie “Steve Susie”, you’re more apt to get injured because your joint isn’t familiar with non-linear ranges of motion. You are more apt to popping a rib during a cool dance move!

We need control in our movement. So where’s your controlled mobility!

Let me know if there’s other areas you’re interested in demonstrating how you can strength train other hypermobile joints!!

Happy to share!

My friends please see the video for a further understanding.
My time as a teacher has drawn to a close for God only knows how long.
My last class will be November 29th 2023.

My health is good, my family is good but I feel God calling me to a deeper rest and reset.
