I was born and raised in a small town, San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico. My family moved to Santa Barbara, CA when I was about 12. I’ve always been fascinated by airplanes but didn’t know the path to become a pilot; and I primarily thought it was targeted for those entering the military. Fast forward several years later, different careers, marriage and kids and it was finally the right time to explore flight school. My wife bought me a discovery flight at Camarillo Flight Instruction, and I was instantly hooked! I made the transition from business owner to flight instructor; during the COVID pandemic nonetheless! I look forward to sharing all the knowledge I’ve learned with anyone from the goals of a spare time weekend pilot; all the way through an aspiring airline pilots.
