New for 2026: PVSD Bicycle & E-Bike Safety Program

To help keep students safe as more choose bicycles and e-bikes for transportation, Pleasant Valley School District will launch a comprehensive Bicycle and E-Bike Safety Program this month. To ensure responsible e-bike use, all students who wish to park their e-bike at school must complete a district-approved e-bike safety education program. Calling all creative Hawks! It is time to get creative with a PTA Reflections Art Entry! This year's theme is "What my Culture Means to Me."

Take some time, reflect on what is important to you and have fun expressing yourself with art!

Submit original artwork in one of the 6 categories:
Dance Choreography
Literature
Photography
Film Production
Music Composition
Visual Arts

All grades are welcome to participate and entries will be displaced at this year's Fall Fest!
Divisions:
Primary (Pre-K- Grade 2)
Intermediate (Grades 3-5)
Accessible Arts (All Grades Welcome)

Enroll now for the PVSD Preschool Program!

Pleasant Valley School District in partnership with the California State Preschool Program (CSPP) is pleased to offer preschool at two locations in the District. The program provides the unique opportunity for children to attend preschool on an elementary school campus.

Preschool Locations:
Pleasant Valley School of Engineering & Arts, Early Ed. Campus
8:00-11am & 12-3pm

Las Posas Elementary
8:15-11:15am

PVSD Preschool offers part-day, three hour classes in the morning and afternoon.

The program offers developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to prepare students for Transitional Kindergarten and/or Kindergarten entry taught by highly qualified teachers who have specialized in early childhood education and hold appropriate California State Preschool Permits. All classrooms meet state licensing requirements and instruction is held to the same high standards we expect for all teachers in our school district.
