A talented artist, Patricia has studied various oil painting techniques and specializes in florals, seascapes and landscapes. Her impressionistic paintings focus on realism and are characterized by bright, expressive colors and carefully composed scenes. She has shared her work with collectors and art lovers through her gallery in San Juan Capistrano and beyond.

LGBTQ+ youth face significantly higher risks of suicidal thoughts and attempts than their peers. Stigma, rejection, discrimination and isolation can all affect a young person’s mental health and sense of belonging.

At Casa Pacifica, we’re committed to creating safe, welcoming spaces where LGBTQ+ youth can feel accepted and supported while receiving the mental health care they need. Every young person deserves to know they belong and that they don’t have to face difficult moments alone.

What can happen when a child learns that his feelings have a voice?

At just 7 years old, Daniel had already experienced major life changes, moving between homes with his mom, dad and grandmother while adjusting to life with his younger brother, who has autism.

Daniel struggled to regulate his emotions and express what he was feeling.

Then, with support from Casa Pacifica’s Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Daniel began learning new ways to manage his emotions, communicate his needs and, most importantly, find his voice.

His story is a reminder of what’s possible when a child has the right support at the right time.
