PVSEA and PEEP Early Dismissal Today - 11am

Due to an ongoing power outage and the heat advisory, PVSEA and PEEP students will be dismissed early today, Sept. 8, at 11am.

Normal dismissal procedures will be in place for those being picked up. If you are sending someone else to pick up your child, they must be listed on the emergency card and bring identification.

Students in PEEP afternoon cohort, should not report to campus today. PM PEEP is closed today.

Any student who is unable to be picked up by a parent/emergency contact will remain on campus until normal dismissal time. Bus routes will run only at their normal scheduled time. Students who walk or ride a bike to school will not be released prior to the normal scheduled time unless a parent/emergency contact picks them up. Any student remaining on campus after 11:00 will remain supervised by school staff, have access to the lunch meal, and have access to a cooling location with portable AC.

We appreciate your cooperation and support.

September is Attendance Awareness Month!

Every school day matters. When students attend school regularly, they have more opportunities to learn, build relationships, participate in their school communities, and stay on track toward academic success.

Under the leadership of California State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, the CDE is working alongside school districts to promote meaningful student and parent engagement, strengthen attendance strategies, and help every student attend consistently.

Let’s work together to make every school day count. When students show up, they have more opportunities to thrive! 🏫
