We loved welcoming over 67 current and prospective OLLI members to the grand opening of Extended University's Shasta Hall classroom! Attendees enjoyed an inspiring welcome address from Interim President Sue Andrzejewski and a special guest presentation from Osher National Operations Manager, Stacey Rivera. Participants also had the opportunity to tour Shasta Hall, socialize, register for Spring I classes, and get CSUCI student IDS!

Over 60 current and prospective OLLI members attended our open house at Dos Vientos Community Center (DVC) in Newbury Park, where we will begin piloting classes in Spring 2026! OLLI instructor Scott Jones taught a riveting, one-hour preview of his upcoming course, The Clash of Titans: Greeks, Persians and Turks! Check out our Spring I catalog for upcoming offerings at DVC!

During this season of giving, OLLI members volunteered with Food Share to pack food boxes for Ventura County seniors. What a meaningful way to give back to our community!

Our OLLI members enjoyed a guided tour of the Kingdom of Pylos exhibit and its rich history with Scott Jones!

History, culture, and discovery abroad! Our OLLI members had an enriching and immersive trip to Portugal exploring its culture, history and all it has to offer!

This year, we celebrated our OLLI volunteers and instructors with "An Afternoon in Tuscany," complete with a brief class on Italian wines and a tasting! On a recent tour of The Seabee Museum in Port Hueneme, OLLI members had the opportunity to learn about the history of the Civil Engineer Corps and the Naval Construction Force - or the Seabees! The Seabee Museum is the second oldest Navy museum in the Naval History and Heritage Command system, preserving and sharing these important construction and engineering achievements since 1947!
