Hello Facebook Friends
To those who know me, knows that I’m not really on Facebook, But I thought this was too important not to share. It started with me trying to find a grant or any kind of funding that assist “seniors” with repair on their housing. I then talk a gentleman that told me to go talk with the commissioner in my county because president Biden and Vice President Harris sign a grant that would go to every city and state for the purposes that I need. So to be fair with commissioner Graham , he agreed to meet with me. He said he didn’t know what I was talking about . I then called the gentleman back and he faxed me some papers in showing all counties and cities and the amount each county or city would receive or have received. I made a copy of and met with commissioner Graham again. He again said that he didn’t know what that was. I told him ok and left. I then called the gentleman back AGAIN and told him about the outcome. He then email me documents more in detail. So a couple of days after that, I got a call from commissioner Graham and informed that the county did get money but not for the purpose I needed it was for , so I invited him to a meeting that I have scheduled for Tuesday May 10,2022 at 6:30pm at Ministry of Faith Christian Center. A representative will be down to explain about the grant. From what he was saying the purpose of grant is for 1. To assistant to households(including rent) 2. small businesses 3. nonprofits or to impacted industries such as tourism, travel and hospitality.
I don’t know the full details of the recovery Funds (that’s what they are called) but a representative will be here to explain everything to you. I am asking all that can please be at the meeting. Even if you don’t need it you may have parents , family members or a friend that do need help .
