Bujinkan Budo Dojo Chicago-south We provide combat training and conduct women r**e prevention, adult street self defense and law enforcement tactical seminars and workshops.

All seminars and workshops are done on-site only. Tactical/combat seminars are for law enforcement personnel and Bujinkan members only.

We at Bujinkan Budo Dojo Chicago-South proudly announce that as a result of testing at the recent Soke Nagato seminar, we have 2 new Godans (5th degree Blackbelt):
Shidoshi Daryl J Smith and
Shidoshi Shango Hopkins.
They put in the hard work and we proudly welcome them back home with their accomplishments!!

The wise way to attain any goal is through hard work a full commitment and perseverance. In Budo this is especially true in all learning goals.
The primary consideration is your motives. This reveals your true intentions, be them sinister or noble. We who train in the Bujinkan have sacred duty that has been bestowed on us from Soke Hatsumi directly and indirectly.
What we do can enhance humanity and protect the vulnerable ones in our respective areas. Will you stand up?
How many senseless crimes can we witness and not actively get involved with a solution? Will you stand up?
I’m not implying one should be a vigilante. We must be wise and prudent in our actions. Above all, we must be legal and utilize common sense.
So as a self reflection being expressed outwardly (Kyojutsu) the question arises will you stand up?

We at Bujinkan Budo Dojo Chicago-South would like to thank Dai-Shihan Michael Glenn for an awe inspiring seminar based on his most recent trip to Japan. The lessons that he brought directly from Soke Hatsumi elevated everyone’s skill level. Gladly the training became very advanced and took us to another dimension!!! We are forever grateful and appreciative for of the detailed information and training lessons for us to explore. We are encouraged to pursue the principles we covered and I personally want to thank all of the participants for their sincere training, great questions and dynamic energy!!!

The good folks at Bujinkan Budo Dojo Chicago-South proudly are hosting a special seminar featuring Dai-Shihan Michael Glenn. Where he will be teaching from his training in Japan with Soke Hatsumi last month!! Everyone will gain from this seminar irrespective of your skill level and you’ll be amazed at the elevation of your own skill sets and awareness. We will have limited space so RSVP ASAP.
