This week, Ms. Shipperโ€™s class explored The Daydreaming Sprinter during Whole Group Reading! ๐Ÿ“–โœจ

Our Little Warriors worked together in groups to create flip charts and Beginning, Middle, and End โ€œbubblesโ€ as they identified the characters, setting, problem, key events, solution, and theme of the story. ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’ก

Each group presented their work to the class and successfully retold the story, showing off their comprehension skills and teamwork! ๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

We love seeing our Little Warriors collaborate, think critically, and bring stories to life!

Mrs. Connors and Mrs. Goetz created a pumpkin-tastic time for their kindergarten students to learn all about pumpkins! ๐Ÿงก

They created a life-size pumpkin life cycle to show how a tiny seed grows into a pumpkin. ๐ŸŒฑโžก๏ธ๐ŸŽƒ Then, they got hands-on with a real pumpkin and used their five senses to explore itโ€”looking, touching, smelling, listening, and even tasting! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐Ÿ‘‚โœ‹๐Ÿ‘…

Our little scientists carefully examined the inside of the pumpkin and labeled all of its parts, including the stem, skin, flesh, and seeds. ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŽƒ

After their hands-on exploration, students put their learning into words by writing about pumpkins in their journals! โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ““ They practiced using what they observed to share their ideas and learning through writing.
