Please join us for a blood drive at California High School on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. hosted by National Honor Society. **The drive is not open to the public until 2:45 - appointments from 12-3 are reserved for students and staff only so they can get through the process quickly and return to class.**

Visit RedCrossBlood.org to schedule an appointment.

Students will have a email from Mrs. Maher with a form to sign up for appointments from 12-3. Students must be at least 16 years old to donate. Students who are 16 are required to get a parent permission form from the counseling office, and they must bring the signed form with them to their appointment. RedCrossBlood.org has a full list of eligibility requirements.

Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA), Department of Social Services (DSS), and Flag Spring Baptist church are coming together to host the first- ever event in Moniteau County, on Thursday February 16th from 5 pm to 8 pm. There will be access to applications, resources and services all in one location!
There will be refreshments, free diapers, and care bag giveaways & more for the first 100!

Lincoln University would like to invite students to register for their Spring 2023 Virtual Admissions Presentation Event(s)!

This is your students' opportunity to receive an official overview of Lincoln University of Missouri - from history, to photos, videos, and scholarships details, all hosted by an Admissions Recruiter! If
students have questions about the enrollment process, this would be the time to share them with Lincoln.

DESE requires the district to follow up with all graduates for their data collection purposes. We will also be mailing and emailing you a copy of the form!

The Jobs for American Graduates (JAG) classes at CHS are helping NurseServ and Central Missouri Community Action to collect items for Blessing Baskets. These baskets will go to local nursing home residents. You can donate lotions, bath soaps, large print books, soft snack items, bed pillows, shampoo, chapstick, puzzles and activity books, kleenex, and monetary donations.

Drop your donations off at CHS by December 12!

*We do not take email requests for schedule changes - students should see us in person so we can more easily and clearly discuss changes.
*We do not change schedules to change a student's teacher.
*We must have parent permission to make a change.
*If a student cannot make it those 2 days before or after school, they must contact one of the counselors to make other arrangements.

We had a great turnout for Senior Apps and Snacks for college applications on October 20! We had about 2/3 of the senior class attend and complete college applications, scholarships, and/or the FSA ID for FAFSA.
