The California R-1 School District is deeply saddened by the passing of one of our high school students, Chase Walker.

Our thoughts are with Chase’s family, friends, classmates, and all those who are grieving during this difficult time.

The district will provide grief counseling and support for students and staff through our district counselors and outside counseling services. We encourage anyone who needs support to reach out to the high school office at 573-796-4911.

We ask our Pinto community to keep Chase’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this time of loss.

❤️💙 Happy Friday, Pintos! 💙❤️

We kicked off our morning with high-fives all around from our high school and middle school volleyball teams! Nothing beats starting the day with smiles, encouragement, and a little Pinto spirit!

We love seeing our older students show up to support our elementary kiddos and help them start their day on a positive note. These little moments make a BIG difference, and we love seeing our Pintos support one another across buildings!

Way to spread the Pinto pride!

It’s a great day to be a Pinto! 🐴
