I hope to see you tomorrow at Artsfest '23 Fine Arts Festival at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center! Sherri Fenwick and I will be performing at the Fairy Lolly Pavilion from 12:30-1:15 and The Newtowne Players will be doing a Shakespeare Demonstration at the Council Ring from 1:00-2:45pm. Plus lots of other amazing artists, performers, vendors and food trucks! This is always a fabulous event to celebrate the arts in Southern Maryland!

Itā€™s been a little quiet over here this summer because I have been prepping to head back into the classroom full time as the Music/Chorus teacher at Greenview Knolls Elementary. šŸŽ¶šŸŽ¹

Iā€™m so excited to be taking on this new role, but it also comes with many changes for my studio. Lessons will be very limited for the foreseeable future; mostly with openings for audition/performance prep.

Our Gravelle Music Studio recital was a little over a week ago and it was such a wonderful celebration of everyoneā€™s hard work this year! Iā€™m so proud of each and everyone one of my students (including a few that couldnā€™t be with us at the recital- you were missed!) šŸ©·šŸŽ¶

For those in the area, I am happy to share of this upcoming event, this Sunday, June 11th, at Port of Leonardtown Winery, hosted by my dear friend Sarah Gravelle, owner of Gravelle Music Studio; Sarah and I were recently together in The Sound of Music, her singing Maria, and myself the Captain. Sarah is a dear & beloved friend and a gifted artist; she will be joined by fellow artists: Sherri Fenwick, Becky Norris Kuhn & Ben Simpson. This will be an event not to miss; hope to see you there!
