CALLING ALL ALUMNI: You are invited to participate in a focus group for the Penn West Social Work Program. Part of our new accreditation requires us to seek outside guidance on our curriculum and have it informed by the professional practice community. We value your insight as an alumnus and thus hope you will participate in a focus group to give us feedback on our curriculum.

The focus group is Tuesday, April 18 at 6:30 PM via zoom. The group should last no more than 45-50 minutes. The focus group will be run by our Graduate Assistant Abigail Frick. She will run the focus group and compile the data for us. All answers will be kept anonymous. Participation is voluntary. Please let me know if you will be able to attend by April 5 at [email protected]. We will send a calendar invite and zoom link to those wishing to participate.

Sep 15 is International Day of Democracy. The International Day of Democracy provides an opportunity to review the state of democracy in the world. Democracy is as much a process as a goal, and only with the full participation of and support by the international community, national governing bodies, civil society and individuals, can the ideal of democracy be made into a reality to be enjoyed by everyone, everywhere.
