Play based yoga & mindfulness for kids and their adults

You don’t need an hour of quality time to make your child feel seen.

You need presence, Movement, Deep pressure, and One shared breath.

The Yoga Burrito looks like play.

But here’s what’s actually happening:

🧘 Movement + Deep pressure signals safety to the nervous system
🧠 Shared breath syncs your bodies into calm
💛 Connection that wires her brain for life

And when she wraps ME up?

She’s learning what calm feels like by giving it. And she feels confident, strong and capable 💪

This is how we teach regulation:
Connect, move and feel first— talk later.

It takes less than 5 minutes.
Try this tonight. Save it for later.

A stranger, grown a** woman yelled at my toddler for being “too excited” at a public bathroom.

I was on fire 🔥 In my mind I was punching her in the face. But in reality, I told her in a calm voice “I got this.”

And she replied: “you obviously don’t!”

I was like you f*ing b*tc🤬😮in my head of course.

Honestly, I’m very proud of myself for not engaging. My old self would have went off on her.

Although this is one strange incident, it’s actually what’s happening inside every one of us when our kids are acting out their big emotions.

Sometimes, even the happy ones (excitement included).

It takes a lot of work to parent our kids differently than how we were raised.

But giving our kids the right tools to regulate big feelings shouldn’t be hard— especially when it’s done by play.

I’d love to share with you 5 FREE Breathing Cards to enjoy and practice with your kid.

Three movements. Instant calm for big emotions. Whether they like it or not.

Downward dog.
Butterfly wings.
Frog jumps.

No fancy setup. No perfect moment. No yoga mat. Just MOVEMENT.

Before they’re melting down — this helps their nervous system reset instead of spiraling.
When they’re overstimulated — this calms faster than “calm down” ever will.
When they’re stuck in big feelings — this breaks the cycle.

🐕 Downward dog brings blood flow to the brain and creates a natural pause.
🦋 Butterfly wings soothe with gentle rocking and opens hips where emotions get stuck.
🐸 Frog jumps release built-up energy so the body can finally settle.

You don’t need 30 minutes. You only need 30 seconds.

This is our go-to bulletproof reset. Before screens. Before meltdowns escalate. Before we both lose it.

If you want emotionally resilient kids, don’t just talk about emotions — Move first. Calm follows.

Save this for the next big emotion moment 💛

Your child isn’t difficult. They just need the right tools
