The Cat® D9 Dozer is one of Caterpillar's large tracked dozers, a versatile machine used in a variety of applications including heavy construction, mining, road building, stockpiling, and land leveling. Replacing the D9T model, the current D9 stands out with its high efficiency, low operating costs, and advanced technology. Key Features and Specifications: Engine: Cat® C18 (Tier 4 Final / Stage V emission standards compliant), net power approx. 440-452 hp (328-337 kW).
Operating Weight: Approx. 50 tonnes (110,225 lb / 49,999 kg) – including SU blade, single shank ripper, and operator.
Fuel Efficiency: Up to 5% fuel savings thanks to the new stator clutch torque converter.
Productivity: Cost per material reduced by up to 3%, automatic blade and ripper controls reduce operator fatigue. Chassis and Suspension: Fully suspended undercarriage provides better ground contact and slip prevention. Differential steering enables tight turns and high-speed maneuverability.
Blade Capacity: Up to 17-21 m³ with Universal (U) blade, similar capacity with Semi-Universal (SU).
