Not everyone is meant to be in our lives to the end, so when someone brings pain, suffering, and disrespect to your life let them go, if you choose, you may wish them well from afar.
If it’s not possible to let them go completely, make sure you limit your energy and time spent in their presence.
Remember you are worthy of respect.
You matter. Your life matters. ❤️
(Not using your energy to hate others is one of the highest forms of self-care.-)

🎉 Happy New Year - A New Dawn of Peace
As the clock reaches midnight and we cross together into a new year, 2026, we want to pause and offer our deepest gratitude to each of you who has walked with us—whether you stood by the roadside to greet us, opened your hearts in quiet support from afar, or carried the spirit of this journey in your daily practice of mindfulness and peace.
You have been with us all along. Through every mile, every state, every moment of this walk, your presence—seen and unseen—has been the strength that carries our steps forward, the encouragement in our hearts, the reminder that we do not walk alone.
We are deeply grateful to the city officials who welcomed us with open arms, the law enforcement officers who ensured our safety on the roads, the first responders who stood ready to help, and the medical care providers who watched over our wellbeing. We thank every person who offered shelter, food, and kindness along the way. And we hold profound appreciation for our dedicated support team, who have been there through every challenge, every step of this journey—their tireless presence has made this walk possible.
As we step mindfully into this new year together, may it be a continuing time for all of us to remain aware of peace, to bring more compassion into our actions, more unity into our communities, and more loving-kindness into every corner of our lives—not just for today or tomorrow, but always.
The journey continues. The path unfolds. And may peace be always present—walking with us, living in us, flowing through us, into this new beginning and beyond.
Happy New Year. May this year bring you and all beings deep peace, boundless joy, and the courage to live with an awakened heart.
May you and all beings be well, happy, and at peace.

CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉The US Navy will name a new aircraft carrier after WWII hero Doris Miller. Doris Miller made history as the first Black American to receive the Navy Cross for his courage.
During Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, Miller served on the USS West Virginia and bravely defended the ship against Japanese planes. At the time, Black Americans weren’t allowed to serve in many roles in the Navy, but Miller’s heroism helped change that. His legacy is an important part of history. Let’s spread this amazing news.👏

BREAKING NEWS: World-renowned vocalist Jennifer Hudson just delivered a powerful message that left some of the world’s richest and most influential people stunned — and then she backed up her words with action.
At a lavish black-tie gala in Manhattan, surrounded by billionaires, champagne towers, and egos large enough to fill an entire Broadway theater, Jennifer Hudson took the stage to accept a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. But instead of giving the polite, predictable acceptance speech everyone expected, the Grammy-, Oscar-, and Emmy-winning icon spoke straight from the heart.

She didn’t thank sponsors.
She didn’t talk about fame.
She didn’t deliver a rehearsed note of gratitude.
Instead, she looked out at a room filled with the world’s wealthiest — including Mark Zuckerberg and several Wall Street moguls — and said with unwavering conviction:
“If you are blessed with wealth, use it to bless others.
No one should build palaces while children have no homes.
If you have more than you need, it is not truly yours — it belongs to those in need.”
The entire room fell silent.
According to eyewitnesses, Zuckerberg and several tech billionaires sat frozen — no clapping, no polite chuckles, no performative smiles. Just quiet, uncomfortable stillness as Hudson’s words echoed across the marble hall.
Of course they didn’t clap.
The truth makes the comfortable uneasy.
Because Jennifer Hudson wasn’t speaking about envy — she was speaking about responsibility.
And she didn’t stop at words.
Later that same evening, the Jennifer Hudson Foundation announced a $10 million donation dedicated to building schools, medical clinics, and safe housing in underserved communities across Africa and the Mediterranean — proving that compassion isn’t just spoken, it’s lived.
Jennifer Hudson’s message was simple, timeless, and deeply human:
“Wealth means nothing if it doesn’t lift others.”
While billionaires chase luxury, applause, and legacy monuments, Hudson reminded the world that true greatness is measured not by what you keep — but by what you give.
In an age where greed is glamorized and generosity is treated as optional, the Chicago-born superstar once again used her voice — not just to sing, but to awaken.
🎵 Jennifer Hudson didn’t just perform tonight. She made the world listen.

During a lengthy seven-hour delay, passengers on a United Airlines flight witnessed an unexpected example of genuine kindness. After the aircraft was redirected to New Mexico due to a medical situation, travelers found themselves waiting far longer than expected. Instead of letting frustration build, the pilot chose to lift everyone’s spirits in a simple yet thoughtful way.
He personally arranged 30 pizzas for all 150 passengers, making sure each person received a share before he even considered taking any for himself. This gesture quickly transformed a stressful setback into a moment of community and appreciation.
A passenger named Tanya Stamos shared the story online, where it spread widely and drew praise for the pilot’s selfless leadership.

Mike Ilitch was the founder of Little Caesars and he quietly paid Rosa Parks' rent for over a decade. After moving to Detroit, Michigan in 1957, Rosa Parks became an important presence in the city for years afterward. In 1994, Rosa Parks was robbed and harmed in her home at 81 years old.
One of Rosa Parks' closest friends, Federal Judge Damon Keith found out about the incident. He worked to find her a safer apartment at the Riverfront Apartments in downtown Detroit. One day, Mike Ilitch read about her story in the newspaper. He immediately called Judge Keith and offered to pay her rent. Mike Ilitch and his wife Marian quietly wrote a check every single month, and continued paying for the apartment until Rosa Parks passed away in 2005.
Mike's generous act was only discovered after he passed away in 2017. Judge Keith wrote about it in his 2013 book "Crusader for Justice." He said, "It's important that people know what Mr. Mike Ilitch did for Ms. Rosa Parks because it’s symbolic of what he has always done for the people of our city." In a world that's often so eager for recognition, Mike Ilitch chose compassion without applause. He saw a hero who needed help and quietly stood by her.
